AVIRT — Active Violence Immediate Response Training — is the current HSI-standard program (replacing AVERT as of August 2025) tailored to the specific risks, layouts, and regulatory requirements of your industry.

AVIRT (Active Violence Immediate Response Training) replaced the former AVERT program as the official HSI standard in August 2025. Unlike passive awareness videos or generic run-hide-fight presentations, AVIRT is hands-on and scenario-based — preparing employees to take immediate, coordinated action in the critical minutes before law enforcement arrives.
Every industry faces different active violence risks. A retail store has different vulnerabilities than a hospital or an oil field. AVIRT's industry-specific approach means your team trains in scenarios that reflect your actual environment, workforce, access points, and regulatory requirements.
